You can take the train from Mysore to Jammu or take a flight. Once you reach Jammu, you can hire a taxi from outside the station/airport and head over to Kalra. We recommend booking a hotel in Kalra before you leave so that you have a place to stay. Just ask your hotel concierge for information on where to start for the Vaishnodevi yatra. There are helicopter services available at Kalra that takes you up to Vaishnodevi. Hope this helps.
